Thanks for your bug report As your Feisty to Gutsy upgrade seems to go wrong, I suggest you to ensure that all package are properly installed and if there are broken packages, to reinstall them all.
You can do that by accessing System / Administration / Synaptic Click on Custom Filters ( at the left of the window ) and click on Broken ( at the left-top of the windows ).
