Thank you for reporting this bug to Ubuntu. We apologise for the lack of updates, but Ubuntu 15.10 Wily Werewolf reached EOL on July 28, 2016. See this document for currently supported Ubuntu releases:
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Releases That being said, I believe your problem is not samba related. Your log shows a lot of these messages: insserv: Starting smfpd depends on ondemand and therefore on system facility `$all' which can not be true! Whatever package is providing "smfpd" could be the culprit here. "dpkg -S /etc/init.d/smfpd" would tell you which package provides it, and then "apt-get policy <packagename>" would tell you where it comes from. ** Changed in: samba (Ubuntu) Status: Confirmed => Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1534944 Title: package samba 2:4.1.17+dfsg-4ubuntu3.1 failed to install/upgrade: подпроцесс установлен сценарий post-installation возвратил код ошибки 1 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/samba/+bug/1534944/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
