Public bug reported:
To reproduce boot a lubuntu artful daily desktop image. Next select
install lubuntu from the menu.
I have attached the /var/log/syslog but the /var/log/installer/partman
did not exist.
I expected starting to install from the menu when booting the desktop
image would bring me to ubiquity. Instead I never got to a part where
the image booted and just saw the plymoth splash and then a black
screen.
