Usually we see a crash reported about an application like update-manager where the crash is actually in aptdaemon which is a dependency of update-manager. I can then query the instances in a bucket in the Error Tracker to find out the version of the dependent package, however this isn't possible given that gnome-maps doesn't appear in any part of the crash reports for this bucket. I think this is an oversight in apport and we should somehow collect information about gnome-maps.
Maybe parsing this in the apport-package hook for gjs would work? ProcCmdline /usr/bin/gjs /usr/share/gnome-maps/org.gnome.Maps --gapplication-service Then looking up what package provides "/usr/share/gnome- maps/org.gnome.Maps" and stuffing that in the report. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1688702 Title: /usr/bin/gjs- console:11:g_slice_free_chain_with_offset:g_list_free:maps_contact_store_dispose:g_object_unref:release_native_object To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/gnome-maps/+bug/1688702/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
