As he mentioned, if you are still seeing issues, please open a new bug noting your chipset and reference this bug. Feisty is still supported, however I'm not sure a fix for this bug would meet the criteria for a stable release update. To find out more information regarding the stable release update process please refer to: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/StableReleaseUpdates Since the 7.10 Gutsy Gibbon has been released it would be good to know if this is still an issue in the new release. This can be done with the live environment of the Desktop CD.
