I have experienced freeze with Linux vinco 4.10.0-21-generic #23~16.04.1-Ubuntu SMP Tue May 2 12:57:17 UTC 2017 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux while browsing with Firefox.
In addition to "invalid opcode: 0000 [#1] SMP", there are: "NMI watchdog: BUG: soft lockup - CPU#6 stuck for 23s! [Timer:8949]" At first, Firefox froze. Could not kill it, and when tried to log out for KDE session, everything froze, and I had to reisub.
