I updated my Ubuntu from 16.10 to 17.04 and the network work as expected. But then I made a fresh install of both systems (Ubuntu 17.04 and Ubuntu Gnome 17.04) and I couldn't connect to the wifi anymore.
However the solution that Doug McMahon on the comment #14 works for me.
