I'm using Ubuntu for amd64 (Core 2 Quad Q6600). I just installed it from the alternative CD yesterday (needed text-based install because of my GeForce 8800), and haven't installed much else yet. I can give you exact versions when I get home later, and whether I have libgtk installed; though I can tell you I probably don't if it's not installed by default.
