Could you check "Software updates" (see attached image), it will likely have some available updates?
Applications in Ubuntu are available through Ubuntu Software (https://help.ubuntu.com/lts/ubuntu-help/addremove-install.html), which is the "app store". Most things can be found there and installed there without looking up and downloading from external places. These apps (including Firefox) will also receive updates and security fixes through "Software updates" alongside any other apps or libriaries you may have installed, so everything should be possible to update in a single place. Could you check if there are any available updates in "Software updates"? ** Attachment added: "updates.png" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/firefox/+bug/1681735/+attachment/4866770/+files/updates.png -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1681735 Title: Auto Update To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/firefox/+bug/1681735/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
