Public bug reported: The Ubuntu delta seems to be no longer applicable. I reviewed the diff between 2016.15-3ubuntu3 and 2016.15-4, and all of the changes that were in the delta are now applied in Debian.
The only possibly relevant difference I see is that we remove .gitignore, but it shouldn't matter because we don't use Git for this package anyways. Also, the reason why I'd like to force sync from Experimental instead of Sid is because of an entry in 2017.1-1's changelog: * Branch to experimental to avoid interfering with the Debian 9 freeze Therefore, it seems the changes aren't "experimental" but it's just put there to not interfere with the release. I also built this locally in sbuild with no problems. ** Affects: ostree (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Assignee: Simon Quigley (tsimonq2) Status: New ** Tags: artful sync upgrade-software-version ** Tags added: artful sync upgrade-software-version -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1685555 Title: Force sync 2017.5-1 from Debian Experimental To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ostree/+bug/1685555/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
