Okay, time for a little round-up :) I'm closing my report as it actually consist of two bugs, which are both already reported.
1) Usplash not working, bug #150930 Can be resolved with: - editing /etc/usplash.conf to 1024x768 - running sudo update-initramfs -u -k `uname -r` 2) fsck unable to resolve uuid's, bug #106209 When installing Gutsy on a new partition, that partition's UUID changes, so other installs can't resolve the UUID anymore. As a result fsck fails when booting the another install. This can be resolved by manually editing /etc/fstab to the correct UUID's (these can be found with 'sudo vol_id /dev/<partition>'). ** Changed in: ubuntu Sourcepackagename: usplash => None Status: Incomplete => Invalid -- [gutsy] slow boot except when pressing ctrl+alt+f1 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/152643 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
