Hi Brian, In effect vlc doesn't work since about two years. As you can understand, I am not an expert in Linux and Ubuntu. as far as I can use the graphic interface, I can do something. But I do not use a prompt command since DOS or VAX/VMS... Long time ago. On Linux I just typed some simple commands when I fully understood them.
So, since vlc is not anyway working and the 17.04 update neither, I could try to: - Uninstall vlc (or remove the packages you told me. - Verify the PPA that vlc is using, removing it from the list and changing with the correct one. - Try again to upgrade to 16.10 to 17.04. - Try to reinstall a correct vlc release. The problem is that i don't know how to do it. can you write me down the commands so I can copy and paste it? Thank you in advance Carlo >----Messaggio originale---- >Da: "Brian Murray" <br...@ubuntu.com> >Data: 14/04/2017 18.47 >A: <carlo.sanguin...@libero.it> >Ogg: [Bug 1682755] Re: Not able to upgdade to 17.04.
