Public bug reported: At boot I consistently get the error message:
"INFO: task systemd-udevd:179 blocked for more than 120 seconds." This is under 16.04 on a Dell Optiplex 9020. See the attached image for a full call trace when booting in Recovery Mode. I want the system to boot to the GUI, but it instead stalls at repeating this error message. Eventually it dumps onto the command line as a read- only system. cat /proc/version_signature is Ubuntu 4.8.0-42.45~16.04.1 generic 4.8.17 ** Affects: linux (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Attachment added: "Call trace" https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1682632/+attachment/4861497/+files/IMG_0973.jpg -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1682632 Title: systemd blocked and times out To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1682632/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
