Kernel 4.4.0-72 is foobar'd (at least) on Hyper-V, I have a VM that I
checkpoint every single day, the last working checkpoint was on
2014.03.27.

When I apply checkpoint and update, I hi the same issue: boot stops for
long at:

random: nonblocking pool is initialized

...then it spits lots of errors then a call stack trace, hangs for even
more time, then more errors I have never seen in my whole Ubuntu life!

This is a very bad image to present, specially right now with your
recent announcements of deprecating Unity.

Is this the revenge of some pissed off Unity developer?
