Indeed the dns negotiation between the vpn plugins and nm needs a bit of
work. a) There should be a way to disable the DNS settings from the vpn
server, b) if the vpn server doesn't provide any name servers, don't
clear out the current settings. (The first bit belongs in the vpn
plugins, while the last bit belongs in network-manager itself)

If noone else steps up to the plate, I'll look at it at some point.
