There is a mistake in munin-node-configure man page:
--snmpauthpassword <password>
Authentication password. Optional when encryption is also enabled,
in which case defaults to the privacy password
("--snmpprivpassword").
--snmpauthpassword does not exist.
It is
--snmpauthpass
