and here : https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/mysql-5.7/+bug/1577712 It has been decided that the first link is a duplicate of the second link. Bug 1577712 shows as Completed on 2016-07-21. Yet I'm having the same problem some 9 months later. Perhaps my situation only 'looks' similar to the previous ones.
