Public bug reported:

These files:

  /etc/chromium/policies/managed/chrome-gnome-shell.json
  /etc/opt/chrome/policies/managed/chrome-gnome-shell.json

...are not removed by apt-get remove. Only apt-get purge will remove
these files.

This is incorrect: as long as those files remain on the system, so does
part of the software installed by the package: namely, the part that is
forcefully installed through Chrome itself.
