I also get this issue with Snapd, but without all the errors in the
snapd log:
$ systemctl status snapd.service

$ snap login

error: cannot communicate with server: Post http://localhost/v2/login: EOF
$ snap install nextcloud
error: cannot communicate with server: Post
http://localhost/v2/snaps/nextcloud: EOF
etc.
