You should find a file named "panasoniclpd-init" in /etc/init.d, and
symbolic links to it with an S or K and two digits in the name in
/etc/rc.X.d.  Use sudo rm to delete them.  That should at least get rid
of the part causing this problem.  As for how to remove the whole
software package, you would have to consult the documentation that came
with the program since it is not in the Ubuntu software archive.
