i have a same problem in ubuntu 14.04..but in my case it's not exactly 2 minute...most of times when i download a huge file everything's ok but when network is idle it gets disconnected...it reminds me sth like power saving mode! i thought maybe its cause of new thechnology of my new laptop because on my older laptop i didnt have same problem. laptop model: ASUS k550vx
