Public bug reported: Juju is now releasing as a snap as the primary means of consumption. For those still needing a debian package the juju ppas will be maintained. However from a distro perspective, folks wanting juju should snap install juju rather than apt install juju. With that in mind, we won't need the juju-core package in zesty.
For upgrade purposes, is there a defined method of transitioning yet from a deb to a snap? This would also potentially have bearing on the current xenial package. ** Affects: juju-core (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1669507 Title: Remove juju-core from zesty To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/juju-core/+bug/1669507/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
