Public bug reported:
X used to reset the reported idle time whenever the screen entered a power
saving mode, so xprintidle contains a workaround ("workaroundCreepyXServer()")
that would add the configured timeouts if it sees that the screen is currently
in standby mode. This is however not the case anymore, so whenever the screen
enters standby mode, the reported idle time will be too high.
I have no clue who is the official maintainer of xprintidle, the best trace I
had led to a website that is now defunct, so I did the next best thing and
reported it to some distro I am using.
As far as I can tell, the proper fix is to simply remove the call to
"workaroundCreepyXServer".
