Public bug reported: I am used to leave the computer open at nights in lock mode (Ctrl+Alt+L). Sometimes in the next morning the computer is not responding and i need to reboot. Today it happened again and I tried to investigate what is happening. It appears that the freeze happened because /var/log/kern.log and /var/log/syslog where filled with millions of lines like this:

Thus, I now understand the reason of the freeze. But I still cannot understand why the kernel starts writing all these messages in the first place and what to do to fix that.
