Assuming that he doesn't have any other thoughts, neither I see any
reason to keep maintaining pepperflashplugin-nonfree in Ubuntu.

Right, and that's a not unimportant disadvantage with pepperflashplugin-
nonfree compared to adobe-flashplugin.
