Ah, OK, I figured out what the problem is; virtualbox-ose depends on
libqt3-mt to give it its 'look-and-feel'  For some reason, that's not
configured in the same way that regular KDE apps (e.g. konqueror) are in
Ubuntu.  If you install qt3-qtconfig and run "qtconfig" you can change
the fonts, widgets, etc. (if you have Virtualbox running after changes
have been made, restart it).

I don't know if there's a way to set libqt3-mt apps to use Gnome's
settings.  I'll have to look into that...
