Public bug reported: In Aug 2016 the National Weather Service changed the URLs for retrieving weather info so the weather-util (weather CLI application) needs updated to v2.1 or higher to work.
More info from the developer Jeremy Stanley: Updated correlation data correcting this was merged into the master branch of the official upstream Git repository within a day of the NOAA/NWS change, and is included with all releases since 2.1 (latest release is 2.2). The data files are also backward compatible with the 2.0 release if you just want to use the new correlation files and not upgrade the software. For further details, see the homepage for the project at: http://fungi.yuggoth.org/weather/ If you're using Debian/Ubuntu packages, I hope to have updated versions of these released soon. The relevant bug against the weather-util-data package is: https://bugs.debian.org/835264 It also has some additional workaround instructions, which may help.
