This error was displayed after logging on to the computer admin account.
I had previously used synaptic to install a package called ubuntu-
restricted-extras, and the error message appears to relate to the
unsuccessful installation of gstreamer plugins from this package. Sorry
that's all I know about it, hope it's useful.
