Re: last posting It seems that the last upgrades brought back a "/usr/share/X11/locale/en_US.UTF-8/Compose" full of cedillas in the wrong places, so last move was not enough to solve the puzzle.
Edited the file as in (top): 1.Edit the file: /usr/share/X11/locale/en_US.UTF-8/Compose 2.Replace the occurences of the ć with ç, for both lower and uppercase.
