Public bug reported: Sometimes I find very useful to execute commands of the current application pressing the Alt key and typing some letters/words corresponding to the command I want to execute.
And very often, I want to execute that command again and again, when I'm applying a filter in GIMP or when I'm building in Geany, for example. The issue is that, <Alt> doesn't remember the last command I typed, so I have to re-type it over and over again every time I'm doing the same thing. It'd be much more handy if Unity remembered the last command executed, if not per app, per user session. It already does it for <Alt> + F2 (execute command) and for <Super> key (Dash). Ubuntu version is 16.04 and unity 7.4.0+16.04.20160906-0ubuntu1 Greetings, Abel. ** Affects: unity (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1656968 Title: Application commands (Alt) should remember last command To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/unity/+bug/1656968/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
