The only way to reach Grub’s menu is a cold shut down or to unplug the power supply.
1. The clock is set default to 30sec.(no effect at 3sec.). The menu is black-low-res. $ sudo update-grub2 shows Kylin boot image and I’m able to open it. Installer was black? 2. HP key enabled in bios gives a third option in the menu: System Setup. In/out in ss shows the Grub menu in native res. 3. I was not able to reproduce a bug where boot stalls on Grub with no count down and stays in idle state until enter’s press. Done with this install and its 24 hours agreement. In order to restore splash screen, a more robust acpi correction(s) would be appreciate. Thanks in advance!
