yea, im running serialmonkey drivers myself with rt73usb blacklisted, for some reason wpa with serialmonkey drivers is not working any longer so now im back to insecure wep because it causes a complete system lockup, its truly unfortunate I have seen these opensourced drivers not work in Ubuntu for over a year, pre-feisty, when fedora, pclinuxos, gentoo and a few other os's work fine out of the box with our cards. The people people reporting the bugs is not all the people who have the problem, most people wont take the time and report such a bug and they will Trash ubuntu and talk it down..
