the correct way to do this with AD is either NETBIOS_DOMAIN_NAME\user or [EMAIL 
PROTECTED]
For example toto\amercatante or [EMAIL PROTECTED]

It works perfectly this way (as it is supposed to) on both dapper and edgy.
I already did this on breezy too, and it also worked.
