I just read both of those bugs, its not the same issue and its still present
in both x86 gutsy RC ubuntu and kubuntu and in amd64 RC bit both ubuntu and
kubuntu.  For some reason either the sata interface or the scsi interface is
not reinitialized and it does not start up the drive because the line in vt
terminal is pointing to "scsi:rejecting I/O to dead device"  Can you help in
getting this elevated I believe I'm not the only one with this issue.
