Hi, I found similar reports which were related to a specific arm board, its device tree and timer. In that case the device tree set the meson timer as the default and with that the armv8 timer instructions failed.
Could you try: http://forum.odroid.com/viewtopic.php?f=136&t=20546#p150935 The thread has much more details, but this is the most simple solution to try. Please report if that fixes your issue, if not please report in as much detail as available what exact arm board you have and how your device tree looks like (http://unix.stackexchange.com/questions/265890/is-it- possible-to-get-the-information-for-a-device-tree-using-sys- of-a-running). ** Changed in: mysql-5.7 (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1652974 Title: ARM64 builds of 5.7 throw illegal instruction To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/mysql-5.7/+bug/1652974/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
