Public bug reported: I would like to request that all dependancies should be reduced to the absolute minimum for each packages and libraries.
In current (and past) version of Ubuntu (aspecially after updating the system to a never version), most dependancies are getting messed up and some times one packages are depending from another and the second ones from the first ones that there is created a loop with makes unable to uninstall, re-install the packages. Many times if I (or probably other users) want to install some new packages agter system update, they require packages (or libraries) with are unavaliable. ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1652631 Title: [Feature request] Dependancy reduction To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/1652631/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
