So... I don't follow you here... A "normal" installation will not prompt
for the CD? If it doesn't, please ignore the rest of this entry.

Well, now it's annoying for people with fast internet connections who
have to insert the CD every time even though there's really no reason
for them whatsovever to do so. Not all of those people will know they
should go to System>Administration>Software Sources etc etc.

Maybe an additional choice can be added to the dialog that prompts for
the installation CD? <"Look for all software on the Internet"> which
automatically removes the CD from the source list.
