Public bug reported:
NVidia card not properly initialized after reboot.
After analyzing log files it seems that when updating the color profile,
garbage is written to the syslog and the update process fails.
Several reboots later, the boot process continues and completes.
A workaround that seems to work effectively:
boot into recovery and continue the boot without any further steps.
(sometimes that has to be selected twice, the first time, the procedure returns)
Maybe a similar bug as #1643997 (not quite sure from the description
there)
