I have seen these memory leaks reported in the past, but I don't see now
in version 16.10.

I have an Ubuntu 16.10 version installed in a Toshiba Laptop. This
laptop is permanently switch on, but I access it from time to time
(perhaps, every 3 or 4 days).

When I access, the PC is doing hard swapping. If I monitor with iotop,
the task unity-panel is taking 99% swapping. Then, I assume there is a
really big memory leak.

NOTE: When this happens, the PC is unusable during several hours because
desktop is veerrry slow or unresponsive. Normally I have to shutdown
