Hi Mac, Thanks for suggestions... I did install dnsmasq, and it didn't help... I configured dnsmasq bu adding server=208.67.222.222 and server=208.67.220.220 in dnsmasq.conf file... And nothing changed, I still have all the same problems. The weirdest this is happening now... I installed wireshark to track down what is going on, and here is what happens when I run wget archive.ubuntu.com:

Is it possible that my router is somehow modifying the contents of the DNS response ?
