Don't know if this will help, but I heard that Ubuntu Mate does something different with their network stack, so I switched (Ubuntu Mate 16.10). I had this same wifi drop with both Unity and Gnome 3, but have had pretty much no issues on Ubuntu Mate -- one crash in a week, and I'm not even sure that was the same as this problem and not something else.
So it may help to know that what isn't working in Unity/Gnome 3 does work in Mate. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1629603 Title: Wifi stops working sporadically To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1629603/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
