Public bug reported:

The following is displayed straight after grub boots the kernel:
[ 16.661133] PCI: Cannot allocate resource region 7 of bridge 0000:00:1c.0
[ 16.661204] PCI: Cannot allocate resource region 8 of bridge 0000:00:1c.0
[ 16.661271] PCI: Cannot allocate resource region 9 of bridge 0000:00:1c.0
[ 16.661361] PCI: Cannot allocate resource region 7 of bridge 0000:00:1c.1
[ 16.661430] PCI: Cannot allocate resource region 8 of bridge 0000:00:1c.1
[ 16.661496] PCI: Cannot allocate resource region 9 of bridge 0000:00:1c.1
[ 16.661563] PCI: Cannot allocate resource region 7 of bridge 0000:00:1c.2
[ 16.661629] PCI: Cannot allocate resource region 8 of bridge 0000:00:1c.2
[ 16.661696] PCI: Cannot allocate resource region 9 of bridge 0000:00:1c.2
[ 16.722834] PCI: Failed to allocate mem resource #6:[EMAIL PROTECTED] for
0000:01:00.0

I got these from /var/log/dmesg hence the initial timestamps.

If acpi=off is appended to the boot parameters only the last line is
seen.
