I have added a note about this to the release notes (http://wiki.ubuntu.com/GutsyGibbon/ReleaseNotes). We do not have the resources to provide SLAB flavours at this point; we'd need to double the number of kernel flavours we provide, as there's no reason to expect that (e.g.) people using the -rt kernel and fglrx would be any happier with SLUB than anyone else.
