There's two desktop files /var/lib/snapd/desktop/applications/telegram-latest_telegram.desktop and /snap/telegram-latest/current/meta/gui/telegram.desktop
the first has the valid path ( i.e. Icon=/snap/telegram-latest/2/meta/gui/icon.png ) the second the "invalid" paath ( i.e. Icon=${SNAP}/meta/gui/icon.png ) i am thinking that ubuntu-app-launch should be reading /var/lib/snapd/desktop/applications/telegram-latest_telegram.desktop instead of /snap/telegram-latest/current/meta/gui/telegram.desktop ** Changed in: unity-scope-snappy (Ubuntu) Status: New => Invalid ** Also affects: ubuntu-app-launch (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1639952 Title: When running in unity8 desktop snap, icons aren't found To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubuntu-app-launch/+bug/1639952/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
