Same here on gutsy, though I checked "Save password in keyring", I am asked for group and user password everytime.
It would be a good idea (also for LP #91964), if it would add a third checkbox "ask for user/group password every time", but if one also checks "save password...", they would already be filled into the fields, so that i just have to hit "OK".
