@penalvch: Since yakkety runs on the 4.8 kernel this issue is fixed, and so it is with the daily build. I'm looking forward to a backport/fix for the LTS.
@ET: I've done the kernel bisection on a fresh installation, so there is no difference between an old and a fresh installation. By the way, I never needed an inputattach command since the first installation of 12.04.
