This seemed to be resolved in Tribe 3 beta at least (cant remember the kernel version) but since the last few kernel updates I am back to the old transfer speeds again so I am going to find the old kernel that worked and test it. I am very disappointed that this appeared to be fixed and now it is a problem again.
Using Tribe 3 is getting up to 50mb/s (it took less than 15 seconds to transfer a 700mb file from one physical disk to another) and now it is taking 2 minutes to transfer! I have an AG8 motherboard for Pentium 4 and the chipset is an intel ICH6-R 915P. -- Slow SATA performance https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/119730 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
