Public bug reported:

I was installing Ubuntu Desktop 16.10 amd64 (I downloaded the ISO from
Ubuntu.com). After partitioning my hard drive to install Ubuntu in dual boot
with Windows 10, and after selecting time zone I received a message saying
Ubiquity crashed, but in reality the installation continued, I could see it
from the lower part of the installer where you see the console output.
The upper part of Ubiquity was blank.
After rebooting I could normally log on and use Ubuntu and also boot into
Windows 10.
I am attaching a screen-shot of Ubiquity after the crash.
