i use intel i810 i found vesafb.ko vga16fb.ko
under /lib/modules/2.6.22-14-generic/kernel/drivers/video. i810fb.ko under /lib/modules/2.6.22-14-generic/kernel/drivers/video/i810 fbcon.ko under under /lib/modules/2.6.22-14-generic/kernel/drivers/video/console i think your configure may be have some error. you just need to remove vesafb from blacklist. you can you in blacklist-framebuffer , they say framebuffer driver is poorly supported. some add blacklist to make it no start when system startup. i think you may need to just comment blacklist vesafb for a test. best wish. Driver is still a hard thing to Linux. we need to take time to learn write it and contribute .
