Did you ever try disabling the pin? Even though its a given measure of security, that's what I've been recommeded by a local helpdesk of the broadband provider (abroad in another part of Europe).
Since I were the only person having pysical access to the device & knowing that mobile broadband is costy (limited access volume, after that throtteling) this was an acceptable solution. The steps to follow, were: Put the SIM card in a mobile Phone, disable request for PIN. That's common procedure with a USB-Stick for mobile connection. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1584612 Title: Mobile broadband requires reboot every time To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/plasma-nm/+bug/1584612/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
